Terms of Service
Effective: June 20, 2026 · Last updated: July 14, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using ripdecktcg.com. By accessing or using RipDeck you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Important: Section 19 contains a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver. Please read it carefully — it affects how disputes between you and RipDeck are resolved.
1. Service Description
Bentonville Digital LLC, doing business as RipDeck ("RipDeck," "we," "us," "our"), operates ripdecktcg.com, a marketplace platform for physical trading card game (TCG) singles. Users pay a fixed price per spin at their chosen tier and receive a real, physical trading card single selected from the available inventory pool at that tier. Cards are shipped to buyers by verified sellers. RipDeck also acts as a marketplace operator connecting buyers with independent third-party card sellers.
2. Not a Gambling Service
RipDeck is not a gambling service under applicable federal or state law, including the laws of the State of Arkansas (Ark. Code Ann. § 5-66-101 et seq.). The following characteristics distinguish RipDeck from gambling:
- Guaranteed tangible consideration: Every spin returns something of value — in the large majority of spins a real, physical trading card single with an independently verifiable market price, and in a small minority a disclosed bonus of store credit (a "credit bag," see Section 10) applied to your account. There is no possibility of receiving nothing of value.
- Known value floor: All items in the spin pool have a documented market price. The pity system further guarantees minimum value once cumulative session spend reaches the threshold.
- No wagering: Users pay a fixed fee for a product, not a wager on an uncertain event. The element of chance determines which specific card (or disclosed store-credit bonus) is received, not whether any item of value is received.
- Legal mystery-box model: RipDeck operates under the same legal framework as physical mystery boxes, blind bag toys, sports card pack sales, and similar consumer products that have been widely held not to constitute gambling.
If you have questions about the legal classification of RipDeck in your jurisdiction, consult a licensed attorney. RipDeck makes no representation that its service is legal in every jurisdiction, and it is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws before using the service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use RipDeck. By using the service, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are 18 or older; (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; (c) you are not located in a jurisdiction where the service is prohibited; and (d) you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
We reserve the right to verify your age and to terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements without refund of any balance.
4. Account Registration
You must create an account via Google OAuth to use RipDeck. You are responsible for: (a) maintaining the security of your Google account; (b) all activity that occurs under your account; and (c) notifying us immediately at support@ripdecktcg.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent policies, bans, or limits. We reserve the right to merge or terminate duplicate accounts.
5. Purchases and Payment
Spins are paid for using your RIP TOKEN cash balance (loaded via Stripe) or promotional free-play tokens the platform grants you. Store credit is not used to pay for spins — it is redeemable for cards and shipping (see Section 10). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By adding funds, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. RIP TOKEN purchases are priced and charged in US dollars at checkout (100 RIP TOKENS = $1.00, fixed). In-app balances, spin costs, and card values are displayed in RIP TOKENS at that fixed rate.
Arkansas state sales tax (currently 6.5%) is applied to all purchases as required by law. You are responsible for any additional taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
Fraudulent chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer for a valid purchase, we may immediately suspend your account, forfeit any balance, and pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any fees we incur as a result of the chargeback.
6. All Sales Are Final
All purchases on RipDeck are final and non-refundable. Once a spin is executed and a card is revealed, no cancellation, exchange, or refund will be issued. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
Exceptions may be considered solely at our discretion in cases of: (a) verified shipping damage documented by photos submitted within 48 hours of delivery; or (b) material mismatch between the card received and its listed description, supported by evidence. Contact support@ripdecktcg.com within 7 days of delivery for exception requests. Approved exceptions result in store credit, not cash refunds, unless required by law.
7. Spin Mechanics and Odds
Card selection is performed server-side using a cryptographically secure weighted random algorithm. Each card in the pool is assigned a weight inversely proportional to a power of its market value: weight = 1 / value^k, where k depends on the tier (Regular 1.15, Chase 1.30, Grails 1.45) — lower-value cards have higher weights, and probability decays smoothly as value climbs. As your session spend approaches the pity threshold (Section 9), k is reduced, genuinely improving your odds of higher-value cards. Your probability of receiving any given card equals that card's weight divided by the total sum of all weights in the pool at your chosen tier.
A small, disclosed percentage of spins return a "credit bag" — a store-credit bonus applied to your account instead of a card — rather than a pool card; the spin still costs its normal tier price. See the How Card Selection Works page for the current rate.
Card values are sourced from current secondary-market data and are updated periodically. Actual secondary market values may differ. RipDeck makes no guarantee that any specific card will be available in the pool at any given time.
8. Try Your Luck
Try Your Luck is a distinct game mode available at /test-your-luck. The following rules apply exclusively to Try Your Luck and supersede the standard Flip game rules where they conflict.
Ship Only — No Credits
All Try Your Luck pulls must be shipped. There is no option to take store credit in lieu of shipping. This is enforced at the platform level and cannot be overridden by any account setting. If you play Try Your Luck and pull a card, your only option is to provide a valid US shipping address.
Cash Balance Only
Try Your Luck spins are deducted from your RIP TOKEN cash balance only. Store credits (earned through trade-for-credit or promotions) cannot be used in Try Your Luck.
Unified Pool
Try Your Luck draws from a single unified inventory pool (the Vault) that includes all series, graded slabs, mystery items, and premium cards designated for the pool. Unlike the standard Flip game (which operates per-series), every Try Your Luck pull is drawn from this combined pool. Series filters are optional and narrow the probability toward a specific series, but do not guarantee a card from that series.
Stake Tiers
Try Your Luck stakes are fixed at three levels: Silver ($5), Gold ($10), and Diamond ($25). Higher stakes use the same pool but apply value-weighted selection that increases the probability of receiving higher-value cards. No guaranteed minimum card value applies except through the pity system described in Section 9.
All Sales Final
Section 6 (All Sales Are Final) applies in full to Try Your Luck. Once a Try Your Luck spin is executed and a card is assigned, no cancellation or refund will be issued under any circumstances, except as expressly required by applicable law. RIP TOKENS spent on Try Your Luck spins are non-refundable.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Try Your Luck. See Section 3 (Eligibility).
9. Pity System
The pity system tracks your cumulative spend across all spins in a session, regardless of series or tier. As that spend accumulates, your odds of receiving a higher-value card increase, culminating in a guarantee once your session spend reaches the applicable threshold: the spin that crosses the threshold will return a card valued near your spin cost (the best available at roughly what you paid) from that spin's own series and tier pool. The session counter resets upon receiving this guaranteed pull or after a period of inactivity. RipDeck reserves the right to modify pity thresholds and mechanics with notice.
10. Store Credits and Cash Balance
Cash Balance
RIP TOKENS loaded via Stripe. Cash balance may be used for spins. Cash balance is not refundable to the original payment method after 30 days, except as required by applicable law. Balance is non-transferable between accounts.
Credit Balance
Credits are earned by trading an eligible pull for credit (cards worth under $50 may be traded for 50% of market value; cards worth $50 or more are ship-only and cannot be converted to credit), credit bags, referral and welcome bonuses, or other promotional activities. Credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and may not be exchanged for cash. Credits expire after 12 months of account inactivity. Credits are redeemable for eligible cards and shipping (see the Redeem page); they are not used to pay for spins.
We reserve the right to cancel balances associated with accounts found to have engaged in fraud, abuse, or policy violations without notice or compensation.
11. Shipping and Delivery
After winning a card you elect to have shipped, you must provide a valid US shipping address. International shipping is not currently offered. Sellers are required to ship within 3 business days of notification. Once a seller submits a valid tracking number and the package is tendered to the carrier, risk of loss transfers to you. RipDeck and sellers are not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged after carrier acceptance.
If a package is returned undeliverable due to an incorrect address you provided, you may be charged the reshipping cost. If you provided correct information and the seller ships to the wrong address, contact support@ripdecktcg.com.
12. Seller Terms
Eligibility and Plans
To sell on RipDeck, you must be 18 or older, reside in the United States, and maintain an active seller account in good standing. Sellers subscribe to a monthly membership ($19.99/month) that includes a 30-day free trial for first-time sellers. The membership carries no per-sale commission — sellers keep 100% of every sale. By activating the membership you authorize recurring billing, which begins after the free trial ends. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your listings.
Card Submission and Photo Requirements
Sellers must submit clear, accurate photos of each card (front required; back required for singles). Card photos must be at least 1,500 px on the longest side. Box photos must be at least 750 px wide. By submitting photos, you grant RipDeck a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display those images on the platform for as long as the listing is active. Photos must show the actual card being listed — no stock images or photos of a different copy.
Seller Representations
By submitting a card, you represent and warrant that: (a) you own the card free and clear of all liens; (b) the card is authentic and not counterfeit, altered, or tampered with; (c) the condition accurately matches your grading (NM, LP, MP, HP, or DMG); (d) the card matches the photos submitted; and (e) you have the right to sell the card. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate account termination, payout forfeiture, and potential legal action.
Fulfillment Obligation
Sellers must ship pulled cards within 3 business days of buyer notification. Failure to ship within 7 business days without communication may result in payout forfeiture for that card, negative complaint tracking, and potential suspension. Sellers remain responsible for ensuring cards arrive in the described condition.
Seller Payouts
Seller earnings are credited to your available balance after the buyer receives the card. Payout requests are processed via Stripe Connect or another approved payout method within 5–10 business days. RipDeck reserves the right to hold payouts pending fraud review or dispute resolution.
Complaint and Removal Policy
Buyers may file complaints for misrepresented, counterfeit, or unshipped cards. Three (3) confirmed complaints may result in automatic flagging of your account. RipDeck reserves the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or permanently ban sellers for repeated policy violations. Upon suspension, all active listings are removed from the spin pool.
RIP Stores (Direct Sales)
Active sellers may also list items for direct sale at fixed prices in a seller storefront ("RIP Store"). Store purchases are processed by Stripe and paid directly to the seller's connected Stripe account, less a platform commission determined by the seller's plan plus a card-processing pass-through fee (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per sale), deducted automatically at the time of sale. Store listing prices must include shipping. Sellers must ship store orders within 3 business days and provide tracking. The number of simultaneously active store listings may be limited by plan. Store sales are transactions between the buyer and the seller; RipDeck provides the marketplace platform and payment infrastructure. Fee rates and listing limits may change with notice.
Subscription Lapse
If your membership lapses or is cancelled (including at the end of the free trial if you do not continue), all your listings are automatically removed from the spin pool until the membership is renewed. Cards already pulled and owed a payout are unaffected and will still be paid out.
13. Taxes
Sales Tax
RipDeck collects and remits Arkansas state sales tax (currently 6.5%) on token purchases as required by law. For RIP Store purchases, applicable sales tax may be calculated and collected at checkout based on your shipping address. Additional local or state taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction; it is your responsibility to comply with any additional tax obligations in your location.
Seller Income Tax
Sellers are solely responsible for reporting and paying all income taxes on earnings received through RipDeck, including federal income tax, self-employment tax, and any applicable state income taxes. RipDeck is not your employer and does not withhold taxes on your behalf. RipDeck will issue IRS Form 1099-NEC to sellers who receive $600 or more in total payouts during a calendar year, as required by 26 U.S.C. § 6041A.
14. Intellectual Property
RipDeck and its content (excluding seller-submitted photos and third-party card images) are owned by Bentonville Digital LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from RipDeck content without our written permission.
Trading card game content, card names, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective publishers (e.g., The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami). RipDeck does not claim ownership of any TCG intellectual property. Resale of individual, authentic TCG cards on the secondary market is lawful and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of card publishers.
By submitting photos or other content to RipDeck, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the platform and in related marketing for as long as the content is associated with an active listing.
15. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, limits, pity counters, or referral programs
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the service
- Exploit any bug, vulnerability, or unintended feature of the platform
- Submit counterfeit, altered, misrepresented, or stolen cards as a seller
- File fraudulent complaints, chargebacks, or reports
- Attempt to access another user's account or private data
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or crawl the platform without written permission
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law, including laws against money laundering or fraud
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, sellers, or RipDeck staff
- Post or transmit any malicious code, virus, or harmful software
Violations may result in immediate account termination, balance forfeiture, and referral to law enforcement.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bentonville Digital LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit, post, or transmit through the service.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RIPDECK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. CARD VALUES ARE PROVIDED BY THIRD-PARTY SOURCES AND MAY NOT REFLECT ACTUAL MARKET CONDITIONS. RIPDECK IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS OF INDEPENDENT SELLERS.
18. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIPDECK'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RIPDECK IN THE 90 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100. RIPDECK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
19. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES YOU TO RESOLVE MOST DISPUTES THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT AND WAIVES YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND CLASS ACTION.
Informal Resolution First
Before initiating arbitration, you must contact us at support@ripdecktcg.com and describe your dispute. We will attempt to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek emergency equitable relief from a court. Arbitration shall be conducted in Pulaski County, Arkansas, or by telephone or video conference at your election. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver
YOU AND RIPDECK AGREE THAT ALL CLAIMS SHALL BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF CLASS PROCEEDING.
Opt-Out Right
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms by sending written notice to support@ripdecktcg.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out." Opting out does not affect any other terms.
Exceptions
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for violations of intellectual property rights or unauthorized access to the service.
20. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For any claims not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and waive any objection to venue in those courts.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that prohibits mandatory arbitration or mandatory choice-of-law clauses, the governing law clause applies only to the extent permitted by your local law.
21. Termination
RipDeck may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may terminate your account by contacting support@ripdecktcg.com.
Balance on termination: If we terminate your account for cause (policy violation, fraud, chargeback abuse), any remaining balance may be forfeited. If you voluntarily close your account in good standing, remaining cash balance of $5 or more may be refunded at our discretion; credits are forfeited. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to fulfill any pending ship requests before closing an account.
Sections 2, 6, 8, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 22 survive termination.
22. Miscellaneous
Force Majeure
RipDeck is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and RipDeck regarding your use of the service and supersede all prior agreements.
Assignment
You may not assign these Terms or any rights hereunder without our written consent. RipDeck may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date and provide notice of material changes via email or site notice at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of RipDeck after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
